			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Brace yourselves, because the Frog King Kwok and his Queen are coming to Brussels for a four day workshop and exhibition at <a href="http://www.hl-projects.com/">Harlan Levey Projects</a>. The Frog Fun Workshop is a unique opportunity to work and learn with one of the most charismatic and influential artists of our lifetimes.</p>
<p>Participants will assist the Frog King in creating an exhibition that includes: paintings, sculptures, and performance documentation. It will reinforce the Frog King mantra: ‘Art is Life, Life is Art’ and offer new knowledge, skills and opportunities to exercise the imaginations of participants. Following the workshop this exhibition will be open to the public for one month and hosted by the Harlan Levey Projects gallery.</p>

<p><strong>About Frog King Kwok Mang Ho &#8211; 蛙王郭孟浩</strong><br />
Frog King Kwok has had an immeasurable impact on contemporary art and design. Born in mainland China (1947), he trained in Hong Kong and NY, inspiring the 1980’s lower east side art scene and later teaching many of Hong Kong’s leading film makers, artists and designers such as Wong Kar Wai, Freeman Lau, Edith Cheung and others. Kwok is considered one of the first performance and conceptual artists to emerge from China and since 1967 has produced performances, sculptures, paintings and installations in over 3000 events around the world. In 2011, he was honored as the Hong Kong representative at the 2011 Venice Biennale.</p>
<p>[SinglePic not found]<strong>About Frog Queen Cho Hyun Jae &#8211; 蛙后趙顯才</strong><br />
Cho was born in Korea and has been living in Hong Kong since 1997. She received the Inchon Grand Art Exhibition Grand Prize and the 4th Sea Art Festival Grand Prize in Korea in 1990. She also received the Prize of Peace and Friendship in the 4th International Asian European Art Biennial in 1992. Cho founded the ‘Front Art Studio’ in Oil Street in 1998 and ‘Kwok Art Institute’ Community Art Education in Cattle Depot Artist Village in 2001. She has produced painting, installation, photography and performance art for over 30 years, and is based in Hong Kong for the past two decades where she works as a designer, artist and lecturer.</p>
<p>To celebrate his first project in Belgium, No New Enemies will dedicate April to the Frog King with special features, updates and original artwork in the NNE web shop.</p>
