Jules Wenzel

Hamburg, Germany

Facebook

Jules melts art, design and craft on several levels. Her passion for illustration is always the source for new artwork/projects. In the course of her studies she started transforming her designs into three dimensional rag dolls. She perfected her skills with needle and thread to such an extent that she basically brought to life her illustrations in the shape of the rag dolls. With great attention to detail she endows these figures with particular clothes, accessories and often with tattoos. It seemed a logical development to search for a form of combining art and craft.
Since the beginning of this year Jules has started to learn how to tattoo and it seems like she has discovered yet a new passion. A day would need to consist of 48 hours in order for her to realize all her ideas due to the sheer amount and her perfectionist attitude.
