Today I have some sad news: Wolf&Pack on Spuistraat in Amsterdam closed its doors for good!

Wolf&Pack was one of the hippest clothes shops in Amsterdam and a gallery space that supported the NNE crew and crowd from day one. Wolf&Pack in Amsterdam is its owner Julian, but really, it is the spirit that he brought to this town by connecting people with a passion for action based art and artistic shenanigans. The spirit of giving creative talent an outlet, the spirit of a little bit of NYC in ‘hartje Amsterdam’, the spirit of giving good advice (if you asked for it or not), the spirit of getting back on your feed when you feel down, the spirit of picking a fight ’cause you feel like it and then excusing yourself for being misunderstood, and -most of all- the spirit of being a friend.

In his own words: “Wolf and Pack was born some time ago from the love for the game, and an overriding urge to contribute to the world’s cultural landscape. Motivated by the ideal that now is better than soon and action trumps complacency; the Wolf and Pack store launched in the center of Amsterdam in hopes of blowing up new ideas and culture this great and historic city.
Our mission is simple: find and collaborate with people as creative, inspirational, and insane as us. Wolf and Pack offers the newest and best products of NYC and world culture through the venue of our centrally located brick and mortar store/gallery. Wolf and Pack is a meticulously curated line up of the newest styles and brands, in addition to a constantly evolving slate of artists in our gallery space. You never know what you might find, or what you just missed. We got ya covered!”

….and they did.

Amsterdam will be a little less hip when this wolf leaves the pack.
